Grapefruit

Not only is grapefruit the most amazing thing since apples, the juice of which has given Robby and I a good way to spend money at the cafeteria, a couple of great musicians have decided to name their band an English phonetic version of the French version of the name of it. Okay, I’ll explain: pamplemousse = French word for grapefruit; Pomplamoose = name of their band. Jack Conte and Nataly Dawn both do solo stuff as well. One of my favorites:

Anyway, you can find their collaborative efforts on this page: http://www.pomplamoose.com/

Final Project

Web design has been fun.  I now have my final project completed.  I know it’s early, but I don’t have to worry about it anymore.  Here it is:

Fun Provided By… TABLETS!

I’ve been practicing on Robby’s tablet.  Not that I have time for such endeavors….

Here is the fruit (or vegetable, as I have not yet decided) of my labour with the “u”:

I hope you enjoy it.  It took me way too long.

Employment

So, I’ve submitted my application and updated resume (with a thing on top of the “e”) to the School of Education and Psychology (well, I left it on the desk in the office for Rob, anyway) for the lab manager position.  I’m currently the assistant manager, so I figure I have a decent chance… but the managerial position involves a little bit more.  I know that whether I get the promotion or not, I will be teaching next semester.  So, beware technology in education students!

Wish me luck!
