Techno is for Angry Keyboards

I’ve been working on some new music lately, and I’d like to share some of what I have done. You all should know by now that I wrote the music for our “Alistair Watkins Show” and a few piano songs. I have also been working on some techno.

Just go to my music page and listen to what I’ve uploaded.  It’s not much, but enough to get an idea of what I’m doing.  Enjoy!

Actually, I’ll just put what I have so far of the title song here:

Oh, and don’t hesitate to leave feedback.

And also, if you would like, go ahead and ask me to write something for you.  If I think I can, I’d be glad to help you out with a 15-20 second intro or something.  I’m good at those.  It’s also very fun.

Ink & Ivory

I now have a music page!!!  I decided on a Creative Commons license.  You can share it, manipulate it (while crediting me for the original, of course), but you can’t use it commercially without my express permission.  Most importantly, you can listen to it at any time!

“Come, Thou Fount” and “O, When Shall I See Jesus” are both awesome hymns–a couple of my favorites.  I was actually going to rearrange the latter for a choir, but I ended up enjoying playing it on the piano too much.  Ah, well.  I can’t perform eight parts by myself anyway.  The third song, “Water’s Dance”, is aptly named, in my opinion (of course, I named it).  Every time I play it, I think of a light rain, and then the storm picks up and subsides.  Maybe I’m just becoming a poet.  In any case, It is the first song of mine that is actually complete AND worth publishing.  I should work on all my other stuff so it IS worth publishing.

I’m calling the album “Ink & Ivory” (in case you don’t get it, ink as in writing music, ivory as in piano keys).  I thought it sounded cool.  I’ll put the album art up soon.  It’s almost done.  I’ll be adding more songs to the album in the future.

Look forward to more in the future!  I plan to keep making music.  In fact, I’m planning to have my own music recording studio someday.  That’s what I’m going to college for; media production and business are my two majors.  Not just for my own music, of course, but because I love music.
